Steinway & Sons has always been committed to supporting and promoting young pianists through the Steinway Piano Competition for Young Talents, a competition that has been running for over twenty years and is open to participants up to the age of 16. The winners of each pre-selection age category will have the opportunity to compete in the Italian Final, which will be held at the Fondazione Cariplo Auditorium in Milan, Largo Mahler, on March 20, 2027. The winner of the Final will represent Italy at the Steinway International Festival "Young Talents in Concert," performing at the prestigious "Laeiszhalle" concert hall in Hamburg in September 2027. The pre-selection in Rome, at Alfonsi Pianoforti, is scheduled for June 20, 2026. Each candidate may register and participate in only one pre-selection location, freely choosing from those offered. Registration for multiple pre-selections is not permitted. Please carefully read the competition rules and the privacy policy.
